I had lived in the Hualapai for four years, just bought my property in Gerlach, and was appointed to the Gerlach Empire Citizen Advisory Board (GECAB) by Commissioner Bonnie Weber. I joined the Nevada Clean Energy Coalition to oppose the project, which was eventually abandoned. The California Public Utilities Commission changed their rules to not allow new coal power plants to provide energy. I built a project at Burning Man, &#8220;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/metric.cc\/Sempra\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/metric.cc\/Sempra\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Granite Skunk Coal Power Plant<\/a>,&#8221; to publicize the issue.
